Robellini-Pigmy Date Palm (Phoenix robellini)

The Robelliini-Pigmy Date Palm which originates from southern China is known for its beautiful fronds which have sharp needle-like spikes. The tree grows to a height of 10 feet and as it matures, the trunk develops wonderful marks or scars which naturally occur as the older fronds drop.
