Cocoplum – Red Tip (Chrysobalanus icaco)

The Red Tip Cocoplum is a commonly used native plant that is usually box-cut to fit in designated areas. It is a pineland variety which prefers slightly wetter areas and full to partial sunlight, and it can grow to approximately 10 feet. The evergreen has bronze-green smooth foliage with white to off-white blooms. This shrub is drought-tolerant making it a very hardy choice.
