Crinum Lily (Crinum asiaticum)

The Crinum Lily or Spider Lily can be a show-stopper in the garden with its beautiful form, long dark green leaves which can grow to longer than 3 feet, and non-stop production of fragrant flowers. The shrub, which is native to southeastern Asia, prefers bright sunny locations but can handle partial shade. It is fairly drought tolerant and although it can sustain damage if temperatures drop to freezing, the shrub is known for recovering quickly.
