Dracena – Marginata (Dracaena marginata)

The Dracena Marginata, also called the Red-edge Dracaena or Madagascar dragon tree, can grow to 15 feet with a slender truck or cane and a horizontal mass of narrow pointed multi-colored green leaves having red and/or purple stripes. This shrub is one of the plants recommended following the NASA Clean Air Study since it has been shown to remove formaldehyde. The shrub’s foliage is showy and this plant performs well in sun or shade.
