Shrubs
Fakahatchee (Tripsacum floridana)
Fakahatchee is a robust bunchgrass resembling a shrub with long, showy green leaves when allowed to grow to 4-8 feet high and 2-3 feet wide. The plant can be pruned to form smaller, decorative clumps of grass as well and makes an excellent choice for borders or slopes. It prefers sun to partial shade and is tolerant to a variety of soil conditions.
