Shrubs
Jasmine – Star (Jasminum nitidum)
The Star jasmine plant is an evergreen shrub known for its fragrant, star-shaped white to off-white flowers and glossy dark-green foliage. The shrub has vine branch growth and can be pruned as a hedge or shrub or left to spread and grow naturally in a large landscape area. The flowers bloom year-round but are most abundant in the summer and fall months. This shrub originated from Papua, New Guinea’s Admiralty Islands. It prefers a bright sunny location and does well in almost any type of soil including mildly salty soil.
