Dahoon Holly (Ilex cassine)

The native Dahoon Holly is a beautiful evergreen holly that can be grown as a tree or a large shrub. The tree grows up to 30 feet with soft, smooth-edged leaves, white flowers in the spring, and red or yellow berries in the fall and winter. These berries are attractive to wildlife as a food source. The tree does well in either full sun or partial shade.
